Date of Our Wedding: January 11, 2014
Our House: We bought a house with almost 13 acres that is located about 30 miles north of Green Bay in spring of 2015.
Things we like to do together: Go biking, play guitar, watch a Netflix show in the evenings, go to church, travel to bike races and spend time with friends and family.

Occupation: Trust Operations Specialist
Hobbies: Cycling, hunting, working on the land and doing other things outside, playing guitar and singing, spending time with family and friends.
Favorite Music: Classic Country and Bluegrass

About Katie
Age: Will be 34 in summer of 2018.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Design
Occupation: Digital Design Specialist. I currently work full time with half of that time being from home. I plan to go down to part time with all of that time from home if/when we adopt so that I can be a stay-at-home Mom!
Hobbies: Playing guitar, swimming, hiking, biking, reading, playing games, crafts, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering with the youth group at our church.

Breed: Golden Retreiver
Occupation/Hobbies: Greeting visitors, cleaning up dropped food, finding birds.
Favorite Food: Same as Katie and Andrew. Haha.
Age: Will be 3 in summer of 2018.
Additional Fact: She loves EVERYONE.

Andrew's Side of the Family
Andrew is originally from northern Minnesota, about 35 miles south of Duluth. His parents still reside there. He has 1 brother who lives in western Minnesota and is married with 2 young sons (5 and 1 year(s) old). We make it out to Minnesota to visit about 5 times per year, as well as see his parents when they visit Wisconsin in the spring and summer.

Katie's Side of the Family
Katie is originally from just outside of Hartford, Wisconsin, about 40 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Her parents still reside there. She has 1 brother and 1 sister. Her brother is married, has 2 sons (9 and 7 years old), and lives in the U.P. of Michigan. Her sister is not married yet, and just bought a house not far from their parents. Katie sees her family about every 3-4 weeks, and Andrew sees them with her about every other time.
Our friends and family are all very supportive of our hope to adopt and are very excited to welcome a baby into the family! Many of our friends currently have young children and more on the way, and we hope to be able to have plenty of play dates with them.
